Whether torah is crying or not, one thing is for sure, I am crying from this whole situation.
I’m crying not only because Rabbi Druckman, one of the greatest and most unifying Rabbis in Israel, has been treated like a corrupt politician should be treated, but also because unlike other machlokets, here, there are thousands of Jews who are suffering because of a beit din’s decision with which many, many people disagree completely - thousands of Jews who are told they are not Jews anymore.
Whatever one’s halachic position on this issue is, I hope people are human enough to feel compassion for all of those innocent victims.
