It is a very good idea, assuming you are not under time constraints, to let any important piece of text you have composed sit and “cool off” for about 24 hours before you re-read it and send it off. Typos that were made and unnoticed in the heat of the moment can likely be seen very clearly and corrected before they become gaffes that the general public gets to see. You may also notice more eloquent or concise ways of phrasing your words after looking at them the day after they were composed. Once you have given your profile a next-day review, send it off with the confidence of knowing that you have done all you can to be truthful, genuine and attractive to others.
